Tiny Forest and Wildflower Meadow Community Event at Belmont Rec Ground

Come and join us so we can explore your local Tiny Forest and Wildflower Meadows here in Haringey! Enjoy our fun family-friendly activities, connect with nature, share food and meet other members of the community. You may even want to try out one of our fun science experiments!

Earthwatch Europe's Tiny Forests are planted in urban locations, where nature is most needed. Across the UK, Tiny Forests are reconnecting people with nature, enhancing wellbeing, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change and providing nature-rich habitat patches to support urban wildlife.

This event is FREE family-friendly event, and everyone’s welcome!

What the event will include:

• Learn about the importance of meadows through fun games!
• Explore local wildlife like butterflies, bees and bugs.
• Meet like-minded people in your local community.
• Free snacks provided, but feel free to bring along a picnic and water.

Date and Time: Friday 28th of June, 3:30pm-5:00pm.

Outdoor shoes and clothing are advised. If you have gardening gloves please bring these with you too.

Please also bring a phone or tablet along with you in order to use our online science surveys. We will have printed copies on the day too if that’s not possible.
