Experience the warmth of Chatsworth, Haddenham Parks' thoughtfully designed Memory Care Community, a safe space for those with a cognitive or dementia diagnosis and their caregivers.
Enjoy a range of activities, including our Mobii magic table, an interactive piece of technology that stimulates cognitive activity and gain insights from guest speakers over a cup of tea or coffee and cake while connecting with others in a safe, nurturing environment.
For our first Café we’re delighted to welcome Roger Ridler to Haddenham Park, where he will be sharing his personal journey as a carer for his wife, Janine, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2018.
Roger’s talk accompanies a touching exhibition celebrating Janine’s remarkable creativity and the rich life she led before her diagnosis, something that resonates with all families affected by dementia.
Visitors can explore her beautiful 1:12 scale miniature scenes, including Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’s kitchen, also there will be a photographic collage capturing treasured moments from her life
