Greetings All-
Who is tired of feeling depressed, scared or worried about the next 4 years? Who is ready to turn off the tv and sign out of social media? Who is ready to take action to defend our rights and values?
Now is the time for action! The threats to our democracy and our state will ultimately have local consequences. We need to start to organize, mobilize and take action to preserve our values and way of life.
To get started, we will be hosting an in-person event on March 20th, much like our caucus. Save the date from 600-830PM at the Community Services Hub located at 418 Payne Road. Join your local democrats to 1) hear how the state party is organizing for action 2) what’s happening at the state, county and local level from our elected officials and 3) discuss and share how we can work together to ensure the values of our Town and the Maine Democratic Party remain a beacon of light in the fog surrounding our nation under the current administration.
We will also have a few items that may require a vote, such as electing a representative to the Registration Appeals Board. If anyone is interested, please let us know.
