David Tiller is a mandolinist, guitarist, and songwriter who grew up in Virginia playing music from the early age of 8. He is a founding member of ThaMuseMeant, a nationally acclaimed touring band that grew to prominence in the 90’s and early 2000’s on High Sierra Records. He is also a founder of Taarka, an alt folk / world / and jazz based band with his partner Enion Pelta, and together they toured extensively, and had a song in the movie “1971”. David produced records for Elephant Revival and many others, and has played with the likes of Michael Franti, String Cheese Incident, Steve Kimock, Jon Fishman, Yonder Mountain String Band, Elephant Revival, Darol Anger’s Republic of Strings, Joe Craven, Danny Barnes, Leftover Salmon, Peter Rowan, James McMurtry, and many others. David Tiller is presently getting ready to release his first solo record under his own name, and is a new and current member of High Lonesome as well as still active with Taarka.
Chuck Sitero is an elite Lyons, CO based songwriter and the lead singer of High Lonesome, an internationally touring Colorado based bluegrass band named 2024 & 2025 "Ten of the Top Colorado Bluegrass Bands" by Denver Westword (Nick Hutchinson). Aside from being the front man for bluegrass bands in Georgia & Colorado for the past thirty years he loves performing in scaled down solo and duo shows where he can showcase his other music passions. Since moving to Colorado in 2020 he's become even more inspired to continue writing songs that carry on that High Lonesome sound from his Appalachian roots. On the High Lonesome debut album Chuck, carries four songwriting credits. “We Hit The Road” a co-write with Michael David Smith that he began writing right before hitting the road to Colorado. “All That's Left” tells the similar story of not seeing eye to eye with all you meet. “Savage Sundown” which came about after he read a book he found at Pearl Street Book Store about Chief Left Hand and the horrific Sand Creek Massacre. And a more recent song about losing love in the mountains, “You'll Never Know.”
