Tiffany Wint Gallery Pop-Up | 15–16 August at Market Row
About this Event
Born in Jamaica and now based in London, Tiffany Wint is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the quiet complexities of identity, belonging, and emotional connection. Her paintings are deeply personal, using texture, colour and layered forms to express experiences that often sit beyond words.
After moving from Jamaica to the UK at the age of seven, Tiffany’s experience of cultural duality and navigating different worlds became a lasting influence on her creative practice. Themes of transition, vulnerability and authenticity run throughout her work, inviting viewers to reflect on their own emotional landscapes.
Although creativity was always central to her life, Tiffany initially pursued a career outside the arts, studying psychology before spending more than a decade working in the corporate and technology sectors. Throughout that time, painting remained a constant source of expression and reflection, eventually leading her to embrace her artistic practice more publicly.
Working primarily with oils and acrylics, Tiffany’s process is intuitive and unhurried. She allows each painting to evolve over time, returning to works as emotions shift and new perspectives emerge. Her recent collection centres on intimacy and quiet human connection, capturing moments of tenderness that feel both deeply personal and universally familiar.
Guided by the belief, “Be who you are, not who the world wants you to be,” Tiffany creates work that resists performance and celebrates authenticity. Rather than seeking to impress, her paintings invite viewers to pause, feel and connect with the often-unspoken parts of themselves.
This exhibition marks another step in Tiffany’s growing artistic journey as she continues to share her work with wider audiences through exhibitions and collaborations.
