Looking for a weeknight reason to celebrate celluloid? Join us at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater for Thursday Thread-Up! From grindhouse to arthouse, cult classics to deep cuts, we present a series of single-feature 35mm screenings several Thursday nights a month, to get you ready for the weekend!
Get ready to take a deep dive into the murky depths of cinema history, lighting up the mighty Mahoning screen with singular sensations several times a month, all season long!
It’s a mobbed-up musical tale of gangland warfare in Old Chicago, but this time the gangsters are played by children, and the tommy guns shoot whipped cream!
Alan Parker’s classic big screen musical went on to be one of the most popular and well-regarded films of all time, and later spawned a long-running stage adaptation. Starring Jodie Foster and Scott Baio, with Florence Garland, John Cassisi, and Albin “Humpty” Jenkins as “Fizzy”!
Gates open at 6pm, showtime at sundown.
Tickets are $8.00 General Admission. $5 for children 12 and under and Mahoning Drive-In Patreon members.
