Your favorite summer music series is back as Thursday Night Jams! Join us at the Abingdon Market Pavilion on August 13th with surf rock, exotica dance band Cinémathèque!
Abingdon, Virginia's outdoor summer music series will also take place every fourth Thursday this May through September, 7:00 - 9:30 PM. Free for all ages. BYO chair or blanket. Hit the town before and after for incredible food and drinks at our local restaurants.
About Cinémathèque:
Cinémathèque is a surf rock, exotica dance band that comes to life with unique world rhythms and familiar themes on guitar, keys, bass, drums, horns, and aux percussion. The band has played festivals including FloydFest 2024, GO Fest 2024, Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series 2023, Crozet Winter Brews Festival, Charlottesville Arts Festival, Steppin' Out, Forkapalooza, KirkFest, etc. Other notable venues the band has performed at include the prestigious Taubman Museum of Art, The Virginia Transportation Museum, The Grandin Theatre, The Pinhook, and The Pour House Music Hall.
