Join Harlem River Farms for our weekly Garden Crawl series, where we roll up our sleeves and support community gardens across Houston.

On June 4, we’re headed to Settegast Revitalization Project

🌱 What to Expect:

• Hands-on gardening (planting, weeding, harvesting)
• Learn simple ways to grow your own food
• Connect with neighbors, growers, and volunteers
• Support a garden that directly serves the community

Whether you’re experienced or brand new — this is for you.

👉 Come for 30 minutes or stay the whole time.

Arrival Instructions:

This is a working volunteer session, not just a tour.

Some of the activities that might be required are:

• Garden maintenance
• Planting and harvesting
• Bed preparation and cleanup
• General improvements to the space

• Get your hands in the soil
• Work alongside community members and growers
• Contribute directly to local food production
• Help strengthen a shared community resource

• Hands-on gardening experience
• Practical growing knowledge you can use at home
