THT presents Havana Nights

The Humming Tree brings you Havana Nights, Bangalore’s favourite Latin dance social, hosted by Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio (LVDS), India’s longest-running Latin dance social. The evening begins with a beginner-friendly Salsa workshop from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a social dancing party from 9:00 PM onwards featuring Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Jive. Open to everyone, whether you're an experienced dancer or taking your first step onto the dance floor, with no partner or prior experience required.About the Artists:Lourd Vijay is a Guinness World Record holder and is widely recognised for introducing Salsa to India. Over the years, he has built and nurtured one of the country's most vibrant Latin dance communities, worked with international and Indian celebrities, and served as a judge for major Salsa championships across Asia. Through Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio (LVDS), he continues to inspire and grow the Latin dance scene in India.The Humming Tree:The Humming Tree - A grassroots performance venue in Bangalore, running from 2013 to 2019 and in the process becoming a cornerstone of Bangalore’s independent music, art, and cultural ecosystem. Now, in 2026, The Humming Tree is back in a brand-new, purpose-designed space in Indiranagar. Built across 12,000 sq. ft., the venue features a 600+ capacity performance space, world-class sound and lighting systems, and a diverse F&B proposition. More than just a venue, it’s a hub for creativity, culture and collaboration.
