The Big Howl — House Workshop, Latin Party & Live Performance

One night. One room. The whole pack.

The Big Howl is a one-night dance party in Bengaluru where the stage is dead and participation is alive: a workshop, a Latin social, live performances and a retro floor, all in a single room. Each edition takes over a different room and is never repeated. This one lands at Gawky Goose on Wind Tunnel Road, and this time the room pours its own beer. It is built for complete beginners and seasoned dancers alike — no partner needed, no experience needed, and half the room arrives solo.

WHAT MAKES THIS EDITION

Artists don't perform at a Howl. They build it. Elvis of Rare Grooves, Mumbai, opens with a house dance workshop that starts from zero, then returns to the floor with Namrata for a live set. Danny & Yoshitha of Team ConRi, Bengaluru, and Divya of Ownd, Bengaluru, perform alongside them. DJ Ajith runs the Latin party — salsa, bachata, kizomba — and DJ Martin Dsouza closes on old-school retro until 1 AM, with Alex Diaz on the mic. No stage, no spectators, open level all night.

TIMELINE — THURSDAY, 30 JULY 2026

7:00 PM — Gates open. Come early, settle in.

7:30 PM — House dance workshop with Elvis

8:30 PM — Latin dance party with DJ Ajith: salsa, bachata, kizomba

10:30 PM — Live performances: Namrata & Elvis, Danny & Yoshitha, Divya

11:30 PM — Retro dance party with DJ Martin Dsouza, old-school till 1 AM

ENTRY, REGISTRATION AND RULES

Entry is Rs 1,000 per person: Rs 600 entry and Rs 400 cover. One entry covers the whole night, every movement, first to last. Advance registration closes at 2 PM on the day of the Howl; after that, walk-ins are welcome at the door. All registrations are final and no refunds are issued, so register when you are sure — if a question is holding you back, message us on WhatsApp first. There is no hard age limit, as the room serves food as well as drink. We recommend the night for 18 and over, and the bar pours only for 21 and over, Karnataka's legal drinking age.

THE ROOM

Gawky Goose, Wind Tunnel Road, Bengaluru. Valet parking is available at the door — drive up, hand over the keys, walk in. The venue serves a full food menu and brews its own beer, so you can eat and drink through the night without leaving the floor. Wear party clothes and shoes you can actually dance in; the floor runs from the first movement to the last, and you will be on it.
