About this Event
Join the Green Business Program in room 201 at the Park City Library to explore how your business can create a thriving, family-friendly workplace for working parents. We’ll discuss the Best Place for Working Parents designation, tax credits available to small businesses to help offset childcare costs, practical policies and strategies to support working mothers, and more!
We'll hear from:
- Becca Gerber, Senior Director of Community & Government Affairs at the Park City Chamber, on key takeaways from the Best Place for Working Parents initiative and new tax credits covering up to 80% of childcare costs for small businesses
- Sara Sargent, Alpine Distilling, sharing her experience achieving the Best Place for Working Parents designation and how they’ve created an inclusive and supportive workplace culture
- Paige Mitchell, Health Educator with the Summit County Health Department’s Health Promotion Division, discussing lactation resources available to employers and employees, along with the County’s Infants in the Workplace program, to help businesses identify ways to expand support for working mothers
