About this Event
W**d Wrangling on the 910 Ranch! Join us at the 910 Ranch for a hands-on day of stewardship and community connection! We'll work together to restore the riparian corridor by removing noxious and invasive weeds that crowd out native species and degrade wildlife habitat.
What to Bring & Wear: Wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots. Pack sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), water and snacks, and layers in case of changing weather. Please bring sunglasses to act as protective eyewear! Participants may want bring their own thick, sturdy gloves and clippers. Summit County will have equipment available to borrow.
Safety Notice: Participation in W**d removal can be hazardous. Hazards may include cuts, punctures, scrapes, tripping, heavy lifting, sharp edges, and exposure to rusted metal or other environmental risks. By signing up and attending this activity, you acknowledge these risks, accept full responsibility for your participation, and agree to the terms of the waiver. Your safety is our priority—please work carefully, follow instructions, and look out for one another.
