Join us for an opportunity to find out about Buddhist philosophy and how it might help you find more calm and understanding..
Buddhist philosophy is a profound system that offers deep insight into ourselves and our experience of the world. Whether you are curious about Buddhism and don't know where to start or are seeking a deeper understanding, this course is an opportunity to see the Buddhist path laid out in a way that is both meaningful and practical.
The text for this course is short - only 14 verses - and yet contains a succinct introduction to the entirety of the stages of the path teachings as taught by the Tibetan sage Je Tsongkhapa, and carried forward by the tradition of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Despite the text's brevity, it is a wonderful introduction to the depth of Buddhist philosophy, opening the door to what can be a lifetime of study and ever-deepening understanding.
All living beings seek to increase well-being and reduce suffering. If you would like an introduction to teachings that can start you on the path to achieving that well-being and, if followed far enough, can end suffering altogether, join us.
