Threads of Autumn Retreat: October 20-23, 2026

Wrap yourself in the warmth of creativity in this autumn at Threads of Autumn, a cozy quilting retreat where crisp air, vibrant leaves, and the hum of sewing machines set the scene for inspiration.

Join fellow quilters for 3 full days of stitching, laughter, and connection as we celebrate the changing season with fabric, thread, and fall-themed charm. Whether you're piecing a new masterpiece , taking part in our two demos classes or finishing a long-loved work in progress, you'll find comfort, creativity, and community in every stitch.

Come for the quilts—stay for the cider, conversation, and the magic of fall.

What to Expect From Us:

Sleeping Rooms - 8 rooms are upstairs and are shared - there are no private rooms available and a chair lift is available for assistance. There are two ADA rooms available upon request. Please call 816-265-1812 to reserve these rooms.

Meals - Please note that lunches will no longer be provided during our regular retreats.

For Early Bird Arrivals:

• Monday evening: A light dinner will be served.
• Tuesday morning: Enjoy a continental breakfast.

For All Guests:

Tuesday evening: Dinner will be served.

Wednesday & Thursday: Continental breakfast and dinner will be provided.

Friday morning: A hot farewell breakfast awaits before your departure!

Sewing Machines -

• Feel free to bring your own machine (and all cords!).
• Alternatively, reserve one of our machines for the duration of your stay, free of charge.
• If you need a rental machine, please indicate this on your registration form.

Cancellation Policy: We know things happen, but if for some reason you need to cancel after you have booked your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. The retreat is only fully refundable 60 days in advance of the start date. In the event that you are past the 60-day notice and are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to someone else or move to another retreat at a later date within the next year.

Projects: A selection of 2 short workshops will be offered on Wednesday during this retreat. Below you will find project photos and supply lists. Participation is optional for any or all of the workshops.
