This Friday (First Friday): join us for a hands-on textile workshop exploring memory, personal journeys, and the stories held in materials. What story can a piece of fabric tell?
Create a 10" × 10" textile piece using thread, yarn, fabric, and found materials — knit, stitch, weave, collage, or glue. Bring something with a story: a piece of clothing, fabric from a family member, or a meaningful scrap. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Optional materials to bring:
Yarn, thread, ribbon, or fabric strips/scraps, embroidery/tapestry needles, scissors, straight pins
Finished pieces may join the exhibition or go home with you. Open to all. No textile experience necessary. Free.
