Join us for an evening of live music as Thomas Hinds returns to Ascension Coffee House on Friday, March 13th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Tonsmeire Hall at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension (205 W. Cherokee Ave., Cartersville).Hinds, a troubadour from northern Georgia, has spent most of the last several years playing an impressive mix of originals on tour across the country. In 2023, Hinds recorded a full-length album, Where Do We Go From Here, at the Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He has recently released a live album, Along The Road. Rick McKee will serve as musical host for the evening. Guests can enjoy complimentary sweets, coffee, and sodas. You're also welcome to bring your own dinner, snacks, and beverages to enjoy at your table.
Admission is free; however, cash donations are gratefully accepted to support the Clergy Discretionary Fund. We also encourage donations of unexpired, non-perishable food, baby supplies, and toiletry items for the Red Door Food Pantry, which serves our neighbors in need. An attachment to this email lists most-needed items.
This is a community-wide listening room event, and all are welcome. Come enjoy great music while supporting meaningful local causes.
