About this Event

Learning Innovation and Technology.

This Party is LIT is where builders, breakers, and bold thinkers in learning tech come together — live and in person!

Join us on May 8, 2026 In Person in Ann Arbor, Michigan for a full day dedicated to learning professionals exploring how learning, data, technology, and innovation come together in real workplaces.

Join a community of practitioners, leaders, and problem-solvers who care about building learning that actually works—across tools, teams, and organizational systems.

You’ll experience:

  • Thought-provoking sessions grounded in real-world practice
  • Facilitated conversations that go beyond surface-level discussion
  • Space to connect, reflect, and learn alongside peers tackling similar challenges

The 2026 agenda is currently being shaped through our Call for Proposals, ensuring the event reflects the most relevant and timely work happening across the learning ecosystem.

Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals is open until February 10, 2026.

Whether you’ve designed a clever integration, pushed a platform to its limits, or built something that’s still a little rough around the edges, you’ll find your people here. LIT is all about sharing the how, not just the wow. And learning from each other’s process, failures, and breakthroughs.

If you’ve built something interesting — or even something that almost worked — we want to hear about it! Head over to our to submit.

Speakers & Sessions

The full lineup of speakers and sessions will be announced in March 2026! Expect a day filled with:

  • Hands-on demos and live builds from innovators in the learning tech space
  • Open, honest conversations about what works (and what doesn’t)
  • Collaborative energy that will leave you buzzing with ideas and inspiration

Why Attend

This Party is LIT isn’t just another event. It’s a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and connection. You’ll walk away with practical insights, new collaborators, and that unmistakable LIT spark that keeps you experimenting long after the day is done.
