We’re thrilled to welcome you to We Are…, First Inversion’s twelfth season. Our opening program, This Land: Celebrating Our Nation’s Rich Cultural Landscape, invites us to listen, reflect, and sing together as we honor the music and traditions that tell America’s story. This first concert features the voices of our own community alongside guest artists and collaborators:
The East Rochester High School Select Choir, joining us on September 21.
Their director, Tim Lambert, adding his artistry on percussion for both concerts.
Dane Noble-Rosema, lending brilliance and sensitivity at the piano.
A breathtaking new arrangement of Woody Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land by Blake Morgan (Michigan-born tenor and member of Voces8).
These collaborations bring fresh energy and texture to a program that highlights the richness and diversity of the American soundscape.
