Third Ward Walking Tour

The Third Ward Walking Tour will introduce attendees to the heritage of Third Ward, a historic neighborhood in Houston and a hub for Black culture. The tour will highlight local businesses like [Kindred Stories](https://kindredstorieshtx.com/), a Black-owned bookstore; the [Eldorado Ballroom](https://www.theeldoradoballroom.com/), a venue that hosted musical legends like Etta James, Arnett Cobb, and Ray Charles and inspired the traveling event series by Solange; and [Emancipation Park](https://epconservancy.org/), which has hosted Juneteenth celebrations since 1872.
We will close out the tour at [Project Row Houses](https://projectrowhouses.org/), a community platform that enriches lives through art where attendees will see a new exhibition and enjoy art, drinks, and music at [Glow on the Row](https://posh.vip/e/glow-on-the-row)!
