Join Open Table Faith on Thursday, September 19 for "RAGAMUFFIN: The Gospel According to Rich Mullins." Rich was a poetic and prophetic songwriter who challenged the norms of the Christian music industry, and who wrote deep and vulnerable songs of faith, hope and love. He died tragically in a vehicle accident on September 19, 1997.
At this Theology LIVE! gathering, we'll have a conversation about the life, legacy, music and message of Rich Mullins. We'll hear from a couple folks about their specific interactions with Rich, and the ways that his music impacted their lives. There will also be several musical performances, and table conversations.
We'll meet at First Christian Church in Tyler, in the Scout Room in the "Christian Life Center" (same building as the gym), which is located behind the main sanctuary building. Look for the Open Table Faith sign and follow the music!
