The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
Get More Involved:
Become a team captain and invite others to join you: Ask friends, family and co-workers to be a part of your team. Your community will want to walk with you — they just need to be asked.
Raise awareness and funds: We'll provide coaching and tools to help you meet your fundraising goals. Raise $100* or more to receive the official Walk T-shirt. All funds raised benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
(*Every registered participant will receive a T-shirt after achieving the fundraising minimum established for their Walk. In most instances, this is $100.)
Become a Volunteer: The Woodlands Walk Planning Committee needs your expertise. Committee members are the heart of the event, planning everything from the kick off to the wrap up. Some members focus on growing the event by recruiting teams and sponsors, others coordinate logistics and some work on promoting the event in the community. There's a role for everyone!
Can't help in advance? You can still volunteer to join us on Walk Day to help us make the event come to life! Help us with set up & take down, route Sign placement, Promise Garden flowers, cheering, or be a part of our Thank You Brigade!
