Imagine waking up one morning and realizing that the home you built your life in is gone—and everything you owned went with it.
That’s what happened to Jim and Stella Luton.
At 80 years old, Jim is a U.S. Marine veteran, a Texas A&M graduate, a retired school teacher, and a longtime minister who has spent much of his life serving others. His wife, Stella, 79, is a retired Montgomery County District Clerk and a mother and grandmother who has spent her life caring for her family.
On Tuesday, August 25th their home was destroyed by fire. They lost their belongings, clothing, identification, and the everyday things most of us take for granted. But more than possessions were lost—they suddenly found themselves facing the overwhelming task of starting over at a stage in life when they should be enjoying the years they worked so hard to reach.
Now it’s our turn to give back.
Harleys for Hope is putting together a Benefit Ride for Jim & Stella to surround this couple with the love and support of our community and help them begin rebuilding their lives.
This isn't just a motorcycle ride.
It's a reminder that they are not alone.

Jim spent his life serving his country, educating our children, ministering to others, and giving back to his community.
