THE WOODBRAINS are an Alt-Blues/Roots band based out of Portland, OR and fronted by the critically acclaimed Americana songwriter and guitarist, Mark Lemhouse, Blues Revue once touted Lemhouse’s slant on modern roots music as ‘the future of the genre’ and SING OUT! Magazine proclaimed that Lemhouse is ‘not only a gifted songwriter, but a stellar guitarist and vocalist’ as well. With him are some of Portland’s best- Jimi Bott (Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rod Piazza and The Mighty Flyers), winner of 20 Blues Music Awards for Drummer of the Year, Harmonica virtuoso, David Lipkind (I Can Lick and S.O.B. In The House, Portland Country Underground), and Jason Honl on Bass.
