Experience the magic of flamenco in an intimate space at Tablao Flamenco la Alcachofa! Each tablao show is unique as artists improvise and create in the moment, fostering an artistic conversation between musicians, singers, and dancers. Our January Tablao features guest dancer Lourdes Rodriguez with Shiho Travis and Nela McGuire, Randa BenAziz (vocals), Cara Eckhardt (vocals), Brenna McDonald (guitar), and Nick Hutch (percussion).

About Lourdes Rodriguez:
Lourdes was a part of one of the most exciting eras in flamenco in Spain, where she lived and performed professionally from 1974 through 1978. Her flamenco career began at flamenco tablaos Villa Rosa in Madrid and Feria de Jerez in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. She was also hired to dance at Torres Bermejas, owned by Lola Flores, and Los Canasteros of Manolo Caracol in Madrid. Upon her return to the US, Lourdes performed with companies in Seattle, New York, Las Vegas, Santa Fe, San Diego, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
