The Women's Living Temple

There is a space for women that the body remembers — alive, honest, wise, and ancient.

The Women’s Temple is a weekly gathering in the heart of Yaletown where women come together to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the power of being witnessed and supported by other women.

Here, you are welcome exactly as you are — tired, energized, overwhelmed, lost, joyful, or anything in between.

There is nothing to perform and no “right” way to show up.

We begin by arriving together and sharing what is present.

You can speak about what’s on your heart without anyone trying to fix you, give you advice, or tell you what to do.

Then, we let the body speak.

Through breath, intuitive movement, dance, sound we create space for what is alive within you to be felt and expressed. Rather than searching for answers only through the mind, you are invited to listen to the wisdom of your own body and allow your own insights to emerge.

We close more slowly, with Gongfu tea ceremony and the sounds of crystal singing bowls and other healing instruments, creating space for integration, grounding, and stillness.

Something beautiful happens when women return to the same circle again and again.

Unfamiliar faces become familiar.
Trust grows.
Sisterhood deepens.

The Temple becomes a regular space to step outside the roles you carry in everyday life and return to yourself — your body, your feelings, your inner knowing.

You don’t need to know how to move your body, meditate, or talk about your feelings.

Come as you are.
