The Whale tells the story of a 600-pound obese man who hides from the world. Charlie cannot stop eating to the detriment of everyone around him including his daughter.
Desperate to reconnect with this long-estranged daughter he reaches out to her only to find a viciously sharp-tongued and wildly unhappy teen.
