Discover the Marjorie Ellen Annison Collection, featuring fans from around the world that tell stories of artistry, craftsmanship, and fashion across centuries. Donated to the National Trust of South Australia in 2021 by Marjorie’s daughter, this collection stands as a heartfelt tribute to her mother’s love of travel and collecting.

Join us for the Grand Opening Night of this exhibition and experience an evening of style and spectacle. Enjoy live dance performances showcasing the many uses of the hand fan.

Guests will also be welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling on arrival, setting the tone for a sophisticated and memorable evening.

Our Volunteer Costume Curator, Sandy Whitelaw will share fascinating insights into the history of the fan and lead guests on an exclusive guided tour through the exhibition’s highlights.
