This is a Dolphin 'paddle out' for our whales and dolphins. We are creating a ceremony as a tribute to their lives and safe passage through our waters.
Apaddleboard meet up for up to 60 people to perform a paddle Vortex (circle!) for the 23 July - ( High tide 3.30 ) for International whale & Dolphin day.
13.00pm start 15.30 Vortex 17.00 Finish BBQ 18.00

The Vortex is a group of people paddling in a big circle continually, followed by a moment of silence. The whole process will take no more than 1hr. Starting from Kite beach (Whitley beach) and form together 100 metres offshore within a marked, safe bit of water.

Water safety provided by Andy @ 'Easyriders' Kite school with a safely boat.

After the paddle out we would then congregate for a BBQ.

'Dolphin Connection' is a synchronized community fundraising event. An on-water display for us to hold a peaceful space and energy that can connect us deeply to our marine life.
Paddlers start by creating a vortex. Paddlers slowly and continuously paddle in the same direction drafting closely behind each other to form a circle. For more advanced water babies you can try and create an inner circle to the Vortex paddling in the opposite direction.
After the Vortex challenge, we then sit quietly in our circles and hold our 1 min silent song of prayer.
