The Voice To Be Me

Join us for a joyful evening of music, performances, and community as core members of L’Arche Winnipeg share original songs and heartfelt performances created through a year of music therapy, creativity, and self-expression.

Over the past year, core members at L’Arche Winnipeg have taken part in a music therapy program made possible through funding from the New Horizons for Seniors Program. Working alongside music therapist Danielle Savard, participants explored songwriting, storytelling, and creativity through music, composing original songs that reflect their unique voices, experiences, and personalities.

We are excited to share these original pieces with you, alongside a selection of beloved songs, during a special performance on Friday, June 12th from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of All Saints.

Come celebrate the incredible creativity of our core members, experience the power of music therapy, and sing along with us in an evening filled with joy, connection, and community.

Following the performance, stick around and enjoy snacks catered by L’Arche Tova Café, L’Arche Winnipeg’s social enterprise café.

Admission is free, and donations in support of our day program are warmly welcomed.
