On Thursday 11 September at 12pm we begin a new journey at The Village Frome: co-creating a Peace Garden with families, children and community. This will be guided by a permaculture design process, its ethics and principles, and the rhythm of the seasons.
The future of our planet depends on a change of consciousness.
Supporting children to grow sensitive, compassionate and cooperative relationships with each other and with the natural world is a crucial step in creating this.
Here we will explore what peace means through gardening, art, music, poetry, play and rest. The garden will evolve with the people who join.
We will share lunch from 12:00 to 12:30, then gather from 12:30 to 2:30. All ages welcome. Sessions are donation based.
