Dive into deep relaxation with soothing gong vibrations in this unique sound healing session.
About this Event

A Gong Sound Experience is a deeply restorative session designed to help you soften, release tension, and reconnect with yourself through the power of sound. This is a journey where you can fully relax into the vibrations of the gong without distraction, pressure, or expectation.

During your session, you’ll be welcomed into a calm, nurturing space and invited to lie down comfortably while the gong is played just for you. The sound waves gently wash through the body, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional release, deep rest, and a sense of inner spaciousness. Many people describe the experience as grounding, soothing, and quietly transformative.

This session is ideal if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply in need of a moment to breathe and come home to yourself. No experience is needed — just an openness to relax and receive.

You’ll leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more connected to your inner self.

What to expect in your Gong Sound Experience

The session begins with a gentle welcome. You’ll then be invited to lie down comfortably on a mat with blankets and cushions so your body feels fully supported. The space is softly lit, calm, and intentionally prepared to help your nervous system settle.

Once you’re comfortable, the gong is played in a slow, steady, therapeutic way. The sound waves move through the body, encouraging deep rest, emotional release, and a sense of spaciousness. You may feel warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness, or simply deep relaxation. There is no right or wrong experience; your body leads the way.

After the sound fades, there is time to rest in silence before gently returning. We close with grounding, reflection, and anything you’d like to share. You leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

Contraindications for a Gong Sound Experience

A gong session is generally gentle and supportive, but there are situations where it may not be suitable or may need to be adapted. This section helps people make an informed choice and ensures the experience is safe and comfortable.

When a gong session may not be appropriate
  • Pacemakers or implanted electronic devices — strong vibrations may interfere with function.
  • Epilepsy or a history of seizures — sound and vibration can occasionally trigger symptoms.
  • Sound sensitivity, tinnitus, or hyperacusis — the intensity of the gong may feel overwhelming.
  • Recent surgery or unhealed injuries — deep vibration can be uncomfortable during recovery.
  • Pregnancy (especially first trimester) — some people prefer to avoid strong vibrational work.
  • Severe mental health crisis — the intensity of sound may feel destabilising.
  • Vertigo or balance disorders — vibrations can sometimes increase dizziness.
  • Metal implants or plates — some people experience unusual sensations due to vibration.
