Join us at lovely Crown Point Park this December as we discuss 1951 Pulitzer Prize winner The Town by Conrad Richter. The Town, the third novel in Conrad Richter's Awakening Land trilogy, continues the story of frontier woman Sayward (née Luckett) Wheeler and her family. It tells how Sayward completes her mission and lives to see the transition of her family and her friends, American pioneers, from the ways of wilderness to the ways of civilization. We'll meet on top of the small hill in front of the middle parking lot. Look for our book club sign.
Bring a chair or blanket to sit on, and a warm jacket or sweater as it may be chilly this time of year. Feel free to bring a snack or drink to share as well!
