Friday 6th June was the official opening of The Tom Newton MBE Room at The HUB in Westhoughton. Inspired by the many memorable moments of Friday 6th June, this meeting will present a detailed profile of one of Westhoughton's all-time" notables".
Tom has been a dear friend to many of us, and a huge contributor to the success of WLHG in its first two decades. This meeting will become the third of our dedicated "Howfen History" days.
