Join us as we follow in the footsteps of J.R.R. Tolkien around this stunning Lancashire countryside. Exploring some of the places and landscapes that captured his imagination in writing Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, this relatively flat 6 mile route around the stunning Ribble Valley is suitable for all. Well-behaved dogs welcome and must be kept on a lead at certain parts of the walk.
We start and end the walk at The Shireburn Arms, a 17th century inn and another inspirational location for J.R.R. Tolkien. Enjoy a well earned drink and maybe lunch after the walk.
