The Thursday Wine Club: New Year. New Notes.

If you’ve ever found yourself squinting at a wine list like you’re taking a chemistry exam rather than ordering a drink, this club is for you. At the Thursday Wine Club, we believe that while the technical details of wine are important, your first priority should be to drink the wine, and figure out what you enjoy.

In collaboration with wine expert Abhinay Jhaveri, we are hosting an intimate evening at Malido Apéro, Kala Ghoda, designed to strip away the intimidation of wine culture. Abhinay uses his "approachable expertise" to curate a selection of wines that are not only delicious but—crucially—readily available in Mumbai at accessible price points,

Meet Your "friendly neighbourhood wine guy" Abhinay has spent years obsessing over the details so you don't have to. His credentials include:

• WSET Level 3 in Wines (Merit)
• French Wine Scholar (Highest Honors)
• Spanish Wine Scholar (Highest Honors)
• Italian Wine Scholar (In Progress)

Don’t worry—he’s promised not to bring his textbooks to the bar. He might bring a map or two if he’s feeling particularly "scholarly," but the only thing you'll be required to study is the glass in front of you.

• Curated Discovery: Taste through various wines selected by Abhinay based on what’s currently drinking well in the city.

The Details:

• Cost: INR 699 to book your seat. This is a fully redeemable cover charge that will be deducted from your final bill at the end of the night.

• The Perk: All featured wines selected for the club are 20% off their normal price for the evening. Abhinay taking you through the selection and pairings, sharing all that good wine knowledge in a fun way.
