Have you ever wanted to write a horror story, but were not sure how to do it? Here's the place to start! Writer Chris Welch will present on “The Tactics of Writing Horror Fiction.” Afterwards, he will show how those tactics were used in his story “The Water Tower Witch of Whitewater,” which was published this year in the anthology A Wisconsin Harvest of Horror. His story is about three university students and their perceptions of Whitewater’s dark legends while being menaced by the most dreadful legend, Whitewater’s infamous witch.
