This time bigger and better than ever!
U64kg women & U80kg men still aspiring to get to the top of the sport are getting a platform of a big show bringing a chance for experience and an even playing field.
Events
EVENT 1.
Deadlift medley!
There will be 3 bars
You do 2 reps on the first bar (regular height)
2 reps on the next bar (regular height)
And then as many reps as you can on the third bar. The third bar will be from 13 inches using the big Mira Fit plates!
Suits allowed, all straps allowed, no hooks or sumo allowed.
U64s 120kg-130kg-160kg
U80s 190kg-220kg-250kg
75s time limit.
EVENT 2.
Axle clean and press. As many reps as possible in 60s
Reps at a higher weight trumps any reps done at a lower weight.
Belt cleans, grip tops,wrist wraps, all gear allowed.
Both bars will be accessible to athletes
So if you have a go at the heavier and fail it and wish to go for the lightweight one you can and vice versa.
U64s 45kg or 65kg
U80s 80kg or 100kg
EVENT 3
Frame carry 2x 12m
Athletes will take their grip and on the whistle will pick up the frame, carry 12m, break the line, drop and turn and carry back 12m in fastest time possible. No straps allowed.
60s time limit.
U64s 160kg
U80s 240kg
A measurement will be taken if athlete fails to complete course.
EVENT 4.
Husafel carry for distance. 60s limit.
Strength register husas!
Bags will start standing up. On the whistle athletes can pick them up however they want. Once up the athlete carries as far as possible turning at the 12m line (with a foot breaking the line)
Athlete can drop and pick up as many times as they wish or need to. Furthest distance wins.
The first 4 events will all be head to head. You vs someone in your category.

EVENT 5

We are buzzing to bring you such a cool event and thank gods of grip for teaming up here. Gods of grip crew will run this event. In the coming weeks ash (an u80 himself) and the team (with a good u64) will head to gods of grip HQ and test weights that will be a challenge to about 45 secs.
This is one athlete at a time due to the nature of the event.
Maximum time held wins.
EVENT 6
Atlas stones over yoke.
All equipment allowed including tacky.
This is a hired venue. We are taking the chance by having this event on site. There will be a designated tacky ON area.
After your go you are to head straight out side to remove the tacky.
U64s lifting to 44 inches. 70kg or 90KG
U80s lifting to 48 inches. 110kg or 130KG.
Athletes can ask crew to have the stone they want in front of yoke ready and other stone off to the side. However if athletes wish to change stone DURING their go then they are to swap out their stones their self.
Reps on higher weight trumps reps done on a lower weight.
This event will have one from each category going at the same time.
