Winter often symbolizes stillness, endings, and quiet transformation. This workshop explores how children may use seasonal or winter imagery in play to process themes of grief, loss, and resilience. Participants will learn interventions using seasonal metaphors—snow, ice, hibernation, renewal—to support children’s symbolic processing. The training will also discuss the cultural and spiritual meanings of winter and how these can be integrated ethically into therapeutic practice.
