About: The Stories of Astrology
The astrological wheel of the year from Aries to Pisces is a map of the journey of the soul and the evolution of time. It applies on all levels of consciousness and is what the yogis call the wheel of Samsara. It shows the unfoldment of Karma and Dharma within a lifetime and across all lifetimes. It is also the unfoldment of all things in time and space: society, cultures, nations, worlds, galaxies, and the universe itself.
This 12-fold geometry of time is a universal division of consciousness that explains the evolution of the heart.
The 12 archetypes, or astrological months, provide the foundation for the 4 Seasons and the 4 Quarter Seasons (Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas, and Samhain). It is also the same archetypal template for the great ages of time — the Yugas — a 26,000-year cycle of consciousness on earth that moves from the Golden Age to the Iron Age of awareness.
This 4-part series will follow the seasonal shifts and cover the 3 signs of each season, telling the stories, mythologies, archetypal meanings, and relationships to personal time (your own Karma & Dharma) and cosmic time (the Yugas and collective consciousness). The series will be full of imagery, storytelling, ancient wisdom from many cultures, astrology and astronomy, science and spirit, art, and history (cosmic and local).
Fall
The season and consciousness of Fall begins at the Autumn Equinox, when the sun enters the sign of Libra — relationship, balance, intellect, spirt & matter, self & other and Venus. The middle of fall brings Scorpio and the mystical quarter season of Samhain, Day of The Dead, All Soul's Day and All Hallows Eve — the veil thins. The final and changing energy of fall is Sagittarius —vision questing, truth, faith, trust and wisdom.
