Join Palmerston North Astronomical Society president Matthew Willey for an evening exploring the Matariki star cluster, known to cultures around the world by many names, and woven deeply into the story of this land. We'll look at the science behind these stars, their place in the cosmos, and why a small group of distant suns has captured human imagination across so many centuries and cultures.
All proceeds go to our observatory roof fund... so your ticket helps keep the stars accessible for everyone.
$10 or $5 concessions.
