Through the ages, the stars have been associated with guidance, enlightenment, spirituality, energy, dreams, and wishes. It is said that observing the stars can enhance creativity, attentiveness, and happiness. Come and be inspired this holiday season by songs and dulcet sounds spotlighting these celestial phenomena. Our program, "The Stars Are Brightly Shining," will remind us of our small but significant place in the cosmos. You, too, are a radiant and glimmering star. Take it in. Come, join us in creating a magical light. Together, we are all brightly shining.
Selections include “O Holy Night,” “Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow,” “Rewrite the Stars (from The Greatest Showman),” “Theme from Star Trek: The Next Generation,” and more.
Conducted by Kyle Webber and comprised of the finest handbell musicians from southeast Michigan, the Detroit Handbell Ensemble celebrates more than 30 years of outstanding performances showcasing the brilliance of the Motor City.
