The Spy & Avalon Foundation present Talbot County School Board 2026 Election Town Hall

The Talbot Spy and the Avalon Foundation will host a Talbot County Board of Education candidates town hall beginning at 6 p.m. at the Avalon Theatre in Easton Oct 21. The program will give voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities for public education and how they would approach serving on the school board. It’s a chance for parents, educators, and community members to learn more about the people seeking to help guide Talbot County’s schools before casting their ballots.
The Spy’s Craig Fuller returns as moderator. A former Cabinet affairs aide to President Ronald Reagan and chief of staff to Vice President George H. W. Bush, Craig brings extensive experience in government and public affairs, along with his experience leading previous Spy–Avalon candidate conversations.
The program will include questions for the candidates, moderated discussion and two-minute closing statements. Given the time limitations and the number of candidates, there will not be an audience question and answer portion.
This program will be recorded for later viewing on the Talbot Spy website and broadcast on MCTV.
