The Sound Of Young Jamaica will be bringing their Dancehall Disco sound business to The Craftsman
This month we have the heavy crew on selecting duties
SUPER SPECIAL GUEST @messenjah_music No introduction needed. A Southend heavyweight, Rod Chaplin from the mighty MessenJah Soundsystem - MessenJah Music Record Label was founded in 2000 by Rod A.D.F and Richard Mystical Warrior Rod’s journey with reggae music began at 15, inspired by Conroy Smith’s “Dangerous.” Since then, Jah works have been central to his life.
Again joined by Olly Harvey’s A stalwart of the Southend 60’s sound. Olly has been selector of both the Ugly and Thousand Tons sound systems. He’ll be playing some choice cuts of SKA, Rocksteady, boss and roots reggae from the golden age of Jamaican dancehalls.
We also welcome back the legendary enigma, Sean Originalites Moriarty. Currently providing sounds at The Cat Returns, London. Sean will be playing some selectors specials from the 60’s to the 80’s, roots and culture business.
Plus the TSOYJ with some rough and tough digi dancehall Jamaican vinyl excitement.
