The Slow Down

"The Slow Down" is a monthly, donation-based gathering series designed specifically for social impact professionals looking to prioritize their wellbeing. We define social impact professionals as those working (or volunteering) in spaces that create positive change in society, and are invovled in solving our region's toughest challenges and inequities.

This gathering offers a space for connection, while allowing your mind to unwind through activities that foster healing and promote a regulated nervous system. Think puzzles, arts and crafts, breathwork, bouquet creations, and more!

Our goal is to help you rid yourself of the false sense of urgency that often accompanies work in the social impact sector. The Slow Down is a place of resistance against work cultures that have trained us that everything is an emergency. It is a reminder that you too are a worthy cause, deserving of the same care and support that you offer your community.
