Sciences Po Alumni Singapore, in collaboration with Dentons Rodyk, is pleased to invite you to a conference with Professor Thierry Balzacq, Professor of International Relations at Sciences Po and Acting Director of the Centre for Global Security and Governance.
About the Speaker
Professor Thierry Balzacq is Professor of International Relations and Acting Director of the Centre for Global Security and Governance (CGSG) at Sciences Po. He is currently visiting RSIS as S. Rajaratnam Professor of Strategic Studies at NTU.
He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has held academic positions and visiting appointments at institutions including Harvard University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the National University of Singapore, McGill University and the University of Edinburgh.
He has published more than 150 books, articles and book chapters on comparative grand strategy, theories of security and diplomatic studies. He has also advised institutions including the European Commission, European Parliament and European External Action Service.
He consistently ranks within the top 1% in the field of International Relations according to the Stanford/Elsevier database.
The event will be followed by a Q&A session and networking opportunity.
