The Secret Life of Trees

Explore the hidden world of trees with Amy in this fun, creative workshop! We’ll begin with a nature walk, making bark and leaf rubbings to create your own unique backdrop. We will then head to Netherwood Youth and Family Hub, where Amy will explain how trees connect underground and share stories about the special trees of Kilburn. You’ll have a chance to share your own tree stories too! Finally, grab pens and crayons to bring your nature-inspired artwork to life, adding colour, patterns and personal touches.

Amy Jackson is an artist and climate activist who brings together ideas about nature, science, and the world around us to create exciting art. Her work appears in galleries, on the streets and in unexpected spaces. Through painting, photography and digital art, she explores important topics like caring for the planet, mental health and equality!
