We’re so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on for our February half-term event.
A feel-good Teachers Connect event in collaboration with Rova Pilates Studio, Wapping.
Following our successful Sip & Paint, we wanted to create something that balances movement and calm - a space where educators can move their bodies, enjoy good food, and connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
As educators, we spend so much of our time on our feet, sitting at desks, carrying bags, and pouring energy into others. Making time to move - gently and intentionally - is essential for our wellbeing. Pilates is a brilliant way to do just that. It supports posture, core strength, flexibility, and mobility, while also giving you the chance to switch off, reset, and enjoy movement in a way that feels good (and fun!).
At Teachers Connect, we love offering a mix of socials - from creative events to more active experiences - and this session is all about feeling good in both body and mind.
Never tried Pilates before? This is the perfect opportunity to give it a go. The session will be beginner-friendly, relaxed, and supportive - no pressure, no judgement, just movement at your own pace.
Already a Pilates fan? Then you already know how effective (and often expensive!) it can be. This might just be the cheapest Pilates class you ever do - and it comes with food and a drink too 😉

Your ticket includes: • 1-hour Pilates session led by Rova Pilates Studio • Water provided during the session • Fuel food to help you re-energise afterwards • Time to brunch, mingle, chat, and connect with fellow educators
After Pilates, we’ll come together to eat, catch up, meet new faces, and enjoy the rest of the day feeling refreshed, recharged, and supported.
✨ Early bird tickets will be available for the first 10 people, so keep an eye out.
And just a reminder for those who are new here - Teachers Connect events are for all educators. That includes classroom teachers, trainee teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, leaders, and everyone in between. Our events are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and accessible - and this one is no different.
