About this Event
Creative Practice Research (CPR) has been disrupting how the academy approaches research within design schools for over 30 years. Beyond the well-known model of the written PhD dissertation, how can we best support researchers who work through mixed media and modes of expression, from images and plans to artefacts and installations? What resources do these experimental researchers need and how could this enrich student experience and knowledge practices?
In this talk we invite creative practitioners to discuss the practical challenges of this kind of work and what universities could do to better support researchers and supervisors.
