About this Event
Join the University of Melbourne Staff Yoga and Meditation Group for our March Meet‑Up, featuring a one‑hour trauma‑informed breathwork session with Beata Heymann. After practice, we will walk together to Lygon Street for dinner and a relaxed Satsang — a gathering for honest, heart‑centred conversation in the company of others seeking truth, clarity, and connection.
About the Practice
Beata teaches trauma‑informed breathwork, gently guiding participants from states of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm into calm, grounded and centred awareness. Using evidence‑based breathwork techniques, she supports participants to self‑regulate their nervous system, release tension, and restore balance in both body and mind.
These sessions offer practical, accessible tools for emotional resilience and wellbeing, helping staff reconnect with their natural, harmonious state through the subtle yet powerful practice of breath awareness.
Open to all levels — beginners very welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing.
