Explore how early childhood experiences shape the nervous system, emotional regulation, and the ability to feel safe in the world. With Q&A.
About this Event

How do our earliest childhood experiences shape the way we feel and behave? Join Dr Jane Mulcahy in exploring how early attachment and experiences can shape our worldview, relationships, emotional regulation and long-term health.

Drawing on polyvagal theory, neurobiology and epigenetics, this talk will examine how trauma is a deeply embodied experience. Dr Jane Mulcahy will explore Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences, Adverse Community Environments, and the Social Determinants of Health, examining how these factors shape the nervous system, sensory processing and emotional regulation in trauma. Walk away with a clearer understanding of the connection between early experiences, trauma and the body.

Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!
